We designed our leashes so that you can unload and reload bag rolls in flash.

Our aluminum caps engage with the plastic lip of our injection molded bodies.  In our initial production batch, we found out that this plastic lip was losing some structural properties in the cooling process.  Consequently when the cap experiences a lot of force in the unexpected life of dog handling it can pop off and be lost. 

We wanted to make this piece available to you in case your pup got a little excited and you lost your piece in the process. 

Purchasing this will replace both the aluminum cap and the plastic spindle piece within the cap.

Seriously? Don't pay for such an expensive leash if you can't get most important replacement part for more than a year. I'm using their bags with my old cheap leash since I lost this part.

I’m having the same issue as another reviewer. I lost the cap over a year ago and it has been out of stock since. Will this ever be back in stock? It is frustrating to spend $65 on a dog leash and have one of its main selling points be dysfunctional for this long.

Aluminum cap

Got this nearly a year ago. Unfortunately lost the aluminum cap immediately. Been trying to purchase a replacement. The aluminum cap is not available for over a year? If you decide to purchase this product, please be aware that the cap easily be pulled off.

Fixed the leash w/I buying a new one!

I accidentally let go of the leash and my dog darted to the dog park dragging the leash behind him. the cap for the poop bags fell off in the process. I'm really happy that this is even an option because yes eventually you will need to repair your leash. This is a good sustainable product when you can fix it w/o have to buy a whole new one just a for one missing piece. Great idea!
